REVIEW: The World: According to Graham by Layne Harper

Blurb:
“Love doesn’t follow Einstein’s rules of the universe. It doesn’t march across a linear plane of time. No. Love is other worldly. It doesn’t believe in rules and timelines and logical next steps. My brain kept reasoning with my heart that we couldn’t feel this strongly about Graham Jackson, the guy that I only dated for two weeks, but what I’ve come to learn about the heart is that it doesn’t listen to logic.”

Rachael Early, the first female White House Chief of Staff, is facing the scariest chapter of her life – the unknown. After discovering that Graham Jackson is one of the Sons of Liberty – a political talk show that is shaking up Washington – she ends their two week, whirlwind love affair. However, fate has other plans, forcing them back into each other’s lives. Rachael and Graham begin their journey to overcome the hurt they’ve caused each other and move forward while struggling to find balance in their new careers. In the conclusion to Rachael and Graham’s story, their relationship is tested in ways that they could have never imagined. In the end, does love really conquer all?

Review:

This is the sixth book in the Infinity series and the story just started exactly where it ended in the fifth book The World: According to Rachael.

I am totally in awe of Ms. Layne Harper for writing such an emotional conclusion to Rachael and Graham's story. I love how the story tackled the issues they were going through and how they survived and rise above all the challenges. This book has evoked a lot of emotions to me. I am very nervous as I turned every pages. Ms. Layne has a knack for making a story a suspense and unpredictable outcome that will keep you wanting for more.

The World: According to Graham is such a great love story. Graham being the sweetest person who truly showed his passion on what he really loves and at the same time balancing his love and affection for Rachael is one remarkable character that I really loved about him. In this book I've seen also how Rachael transformed from being a tough person to an Agreeable Rachael. She learned to compromise and how to fight for her one true love.

I love this book! This is one unputdownable read. A story with a perfect mix of compassion, forgiveness, and love. There were some parts that totally blown me away and made me cry but this book is such a perfection. Kudos to Ms. Layne Harper for writing such a brilliant book.

About the Author:

Layne Harper is a mom, wife, book junkie, and sports fanatic. However, when the kids and husband are safely ensconced at school and work, she slips into her office with her three rescue dogs and writes until it’s time to drive carpool. Her children have no idea about her secret life (and they hopefully never will), and the dogs won’t tell. She’s always writing in her mind though and making notes on whatever is close by; envelopes, napkins, a kid’s homework…

REVIEW: Grayson's Vow by Mia Sheridan

A full-length, standalone romance from the New York Timesbestselling author of Archer's Voice.

Kira Dallaire is desperate.

Some challenges in life seem too hard to overcome. With little money, and even fewer options, the quick-witted and vibrant twenty-two-year-old needs to reinvent herself. Known for her generous heart and impulsive personality, she devises a survival plan, possibly her most outrageous idea yet.

Grayson Hawthorn is losing hope.

Some obstacles in life seem too hard to overcome. Betrayal definitely being one of them. With limited capital, and dwindling resources, he is attempting to resurrect his failing family vineyard, a self-imposed vow seemingly destined to fail. That is until a young woman enters his office with an outlandish, unexpected proposition impossible to refuse.

What begins as a temporary business arrangement, soon evolves into more as vivacious, spirited Kira challenges detached, arrogant Grayson to want more from life. To want more for himself. But as their wills clash and fiery passion ignites, they'll realize that sometimes the past creates walls too difficult to climb, and that lies and deception rarely precede a happily every after.

As Kira and Grayson race toward their destiny, they will discover that some vows are meant to be broken, and others are worth risking everything for . . . even your very own heart.

                                                                         REVIEW

"Today may be a very bad day, but tomorrow may be the best day of your life. You just have to hang on until you get there."

Fall in love with the story of two beautifully created characters of Grayson and Kira who were broken but found love, happiness and wholeness in each other.

Grayson Hawthorn is an ex-con who is very desperate to save his father's winery as he vowed that he will not let him down. And Kira Dallaire, a very pretty 22-year old kind-hearted girl who is set-up by his father Frank Dallaire to marry Cooper Stratton, a young assistant district attorney who cheated on her.

The physical attraction between Grayson and Kira is palpable from the very beginning. The story progresses when Kira offered Grayson a proposal that will both save them from desperation. Their marriage is one enjoyable phase in the story, I love how they develop their true feelings for each other and how they survive each pain and fill their lives with much love and forgiveness.

"In Vino Veritas. In wine there is truth. In love there is truth."

Grayson's Vow is absolutely a great read. A beautiful story written with a mixed of humor, sadness, pain and heartache but also full of compassion and love. I love every words of wisdom the story is imparting to the readers. This is another captivating story from Mia Sheridan.
